Storage and delivery

How we hold stock

Cigars are living products. Ours are held in Brussels in conditions kept steady all year, so that what arrives at your mission is in the same condition as when it left the maker. Boxes are not opened, split or repacked: you receive the manufacturer’s sealed unit.

Keeping them once delivered

  • Keep boxes in a humidor at a relative humidity of around 68 to 72 per cent and a temperature of 16 to 18 degrees.
  • Leave cigars in their original box. The cedar is part of how they age.
  • Keep them away from direct light, from heat sources, and from anything strongly scented.
  • Let a delivery rest for a few days before smoking: transport unsettles them.

Delivery

We deliver to your mission ourselves, anywhere in Belgium, at no charge. Standard lead time is three to five working days from the moment your form 136F is validated.

At checkout you may ask for a preferred date. Weekends, Belgian public holidays and our own closure days are excluded automatically. Our office confirms the date and an approximate time with you before coming, so that somebody is there to sign.

If nobody is available at the agreed time, we take the goods back and agree a new date with you. We never leave a delivery with a third party or at a reception desk unless you have told us in writing to do so.
